Low-profile textile antenna with artificial magnetic conductor
Zbořil, Vojtěch ; Cupal, Miroslav (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
Planar wereable antenna consists of planar wide-band monopole, coplanar waveguide, and artificial magnetic conductor. The goal of this thesis is to verify the legitimacy of their subcomponents by using simulations and comparsions with a paragidmatic publication. The proposed thesis presents analysis of particular components, their partial simulations and comparison with paradigmatic publication. The planar wearable antenna can be used in disciplines such as healtcare, sports, security and rescue services, the military and wherever the position and health of subjects is required to track / monitor.
Miniature antenna for mobile applications
Šmarda, Marek ; Švanda,, Milan (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the most famous constructions of planar antennas. The work analyses selected methods of connecting planar antennas' charging with the possibility of impedance adaptation. An important part of the work consists of description of techniques for increasing bandwidth and conversely techniques for reducing the dimensions which are important for the design of planar antennas for mobile devices. The antennas were designed by means of theoretical basis and their properties were examined in the electromagnetic field simulator. The selected antenna model was constructed and its parameters were measured experimentally. The matching circuit for the antenna to tune it to different resonant frequencies was designed and constructed.
Textile waveguide
Pelikán, Michal ; Schejbal, Vladimír (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on manufacturing process of waveguide filter. Thesis is divided to 8 chapters. There is summarized theory of possible execution of waveguide filter, used materials, their influence and risks during production. Then are described possible steps of realization and necessary relations for its design, simulation and also practical realization. At conclusion are summarized, compared and described reached results.
Analysis of planar junction in millimeter bands
Ambros, Martin ; Oliva, Lukáš (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves possibilities of transitions between waveguides and hybrid types of integrated microwave circuits. It describes the basic ways of solutions this transitions in both longitudinal and transverse as well. In thesis is also mentioned the principle of SIW technology, which is in this transitions widely used. The practical part is focused on the modeling and analysis of selected structures in CST MW Studio. Modeled structures are optimized for the lowest possible value insertion loss transition and are adapted to the characteristic impedance on 50. Selected structures are recalculated to a lower frequency band, realized and results of their simulation verified by measurements.
Designing circularly polarized antenna for frequency band 2,4 GHz
Jiříček, Zbyněk ; Oliva, Lukáš (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused to design of a system with circularly polarized wave for frequency band 2.4 GHz. The thesis introduces question of the microwave antennas, matching circuits and circular polarization circuit. It also includes a design of a circuit for available chip antenna (2450AT45A100) measurement and its measuring with connected chip antenna. Design and measurement of a circular polarization circuit using available chip antennas are also included in this thesis.
Coplanar directional and hybrid couplers
Žabokrtský, Michal ; Šádek, Václav (referee) ; Dvořák, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with coplanar directional and hybrid couplers. Firstly, the thesis describes the theory of hybrid microwave integrated circuits with their advantages and disadvantages in comparison with other types of microwave circuits. Next, the thesis deals with basic microstrips and individual types of coplanar strips and waveguides are also more closely analyzed. The thesis also explains a theory of directional and hybrid couplers and analyses particular kinds of directionality and attributes of the real directional couplers. The following chapter shows a method of design of a few coplanar directional coupler types. Attributes of the types are then verified in CST Microwave Studio. The last chapter includes measured parameters of the couplers and their comparison with the theoretical values from the previous part. The next aim of the thesis is to create laboratory tasks which deals with coplanar directional couplers. The laboratory task is found in the appendix.
